Do I have to pay sales tax?
Some states exempt sales tax from the purchase of precious metals. However, it doesn't apply to all CrownMint.com products. For example, Alabama exempts bullion coins from collecting sales tax but requires it for coins that are commemorative or colorized.
Do I have to pay VAT or other duties?
You may be subject to import duties, taxes and customs clearance charges levied by your country or other overseas authorities once your order reaches its destination. These charges are not included in the price and not the responsibility of The Crown Mint. Please contact your local customs office for further information on applicable duties, taxes and fees.
My order arrived damaged, what do I do?
Exchange requests for damaged or defective items must be made within 5 days from date of delivery confirmation. Please send an email to support@crownmint.com with your order number, a description of the damage or defect, and include photos. Please reference our Returns and Exchanges policy page for more information.
CROWN MINT AUTOSHIP PROGRAMS
How does AUTOSHIP work?
When you join our AUTOSHIP, each release will be sent to you automatically in sequential release order each month. I.e. If joining in July, you'll receive the first release, Captain America. In August, you'll receive the second release, Iron Man. In September, you'll receive the third release, Black Panther, plus the free storage box. In October, you'll receive the fourth release, Thor. This shipment sequence continues throughout the program.
For customers in the continental USA, PRIORITY shipping via USPS is included. For customers outside the continental USA, you will be charged an additional shipping fee and your order will ship via USPS or via DHL Express. AUTOSHIP orders are billed on the 15th of each month, using your preferred form of payment. Once your payment has cleared, each order will be shipped the following week.
What payment methods can I use?
AUTOSHIP programs require a credit card or debit card that is billed each month. AUTOSHIP products are not eligible for extended payment programs like ShopPay.
I will be traveling; can I pause my AUTOSHIP?
Yes! Simply log in to your customer portal and click SKIP SHIPMENT. The maximum amount of time that the program can be paused is three months. Your shipments will resume where you left off when you’re ready.
What are the terms for joining the AUTOSHIP program?
The Crown Mint’s AUTOSHIP programs are collectible coin programs that are automatically billed to your credit card. Shipping fees are included for orders shipped within the continental USA. You will be charged a shipping fee for orders outside of the continental USA. You will be charged local tax where applicable.
VAT or additional transaction fees may apply for non-US customers. You can easily update your account preferences or information anytime via our membership portal. You can cancel any one of our AUTOSHIP programs at any time. Please refer to our cancellation and policy page if you wish to opt-out of the service early.
I just joined AUTOSHIP but I want to get caught up with the current release, what do I do?
Getting caught up is easy! Simply join the Autoship program and pay for the initial coin, Captain America. Next, send us an email and request that billing be accelerated to get you caught up to the most recent release. We can bill for each coin in the AUTOSHIP Program on a day that works for you. After you're caught up to the most current release, your AUTOSHIP program will run as scheduled with billing occurring on the 15th of each month.
